In February 2025, Ecuador reached a major milestone in its agricultural trade expansion by exporting pitahaya (dragon fruit) and avocado to Argentina for the first time.

Exotic Ecuadorian fruits are making a splash in Madrid’s fine dining scene through the “Taste Ecuador” campaign, led by NEXT Ecuador and supported by the European Union.

In Russia, interest in mangoes is declining; however, consumers are increasingly turning their attention to other exotic fruits, which are becoming more competitively priced.
