Ecuadorian Bananas and Fruits Conquered Fruit Logistica 2026

On February 6, 2026, Ecuador experienced an intense and strategic day at Fruit Logistica Berlin, one of the world’s most important horticultural trade fairs. Ecuador’s participation unfolded in a highly dynamic commercial environment, marked by constant meetings, visits from international buyers, and strong interest in the quality, sustainability, and traceability of the country’s fruit. The Ecuadorian pavilion became a key meeting point for networking and the projection of new business opportunities.

Ecuadorian bananas were among the main highlights of the fair. With a 90-square-meter pavilion and the participation of 16 exporting companies, the sector showcased its productive strength, logistical capacity, and progress in areas such as sustainability, living wages, and supply chain security. Throughout the day, meetings were held with European importers and other strategic markets, against a backdrop of new logistical challenges, environmental requirements, and evolving consumer preferences.

The experience in Berlin also featured technical and strategic dialogue spaces. The banana sector took part in forums focused on security and the fight against transnational crime, reaffirming its commitment to responsible and secure exports. Overall, Ecuador’s presence at Fruit Logistica 2026 generated a strong sense of optimism and consolidation, reinforcing the country’s image as a reliable, competitive supplier ready to continue growing in international markets.
